Learning Objectives
By the end of this course, students will master:
Cuticle & Nail Prep
- Perform clean, trauma-free cuticle work using diamond bits
- Identify and work around deep cuticle pockets
- Prepare the nail plate for long-lasting adhesion
Ingrown Nail Care
- Identify true ingrown nails vs uncomfortable pressure
- Lift and clean the lateral fold safely
- Remove keratin plugs & impacted debris
- Insert cotton or gel supports without causing trauma
Dry Pedicure Skin Work
- Work confidently with Smart Discs for callus reduction
- Choose correct grit levels for different skin types
- Smooth, polish, and finish heels with professional e-file techniques
- Understand when to avoid or limit foot filing (contraindications)
Gel Pedicure Application
- Choose the correct base for strengthening toenails
- Apply structured gel for shape correction
- Perform clean, even, chip-resistant color application
- Seal edges and work on miniature nail plates with precision
Pedicure Safety & Hygiene
- Follow correct sterilization & disinfection protocols
- Recognize contraindications and when to refuse service
- Maintain ergonomic technique & proper client positioning
